Invitation to 2nd CCI Global Land Cover User Workshop at ESRIN (Frascati, Italy) on September 24

Dear CCI Land Cover User,

More than one year has passed since the release of the very first CCI 300 m long-term global land cover time series (1992-2015) (http://maps.elie.ucl.ac.be/CCI/viewer/) that took place at the WorldCover conference in March 2017.

Based on the success of the 1st CCI Global Land Cover User Workshop, ESA and UCLouvain are pleased to invite you to the 2nd CCI Global Land Cover User Workshop at ESRIN (Frascati, Italy) on the 24th of September 2018 in the context of the ESA Climate Change Initiative to share respective experiences on the CCI-LC data exploitation as well as upcoming developments.

Objectives. The objective of the workshop is to consolidate the community of users of the CCI-LC 300 m long-term global land cover time series (1992-2015). During one day, we will have the opportunity to exchange on the appropriate use of the CCI-LC time series, share how we have been exploiting the dataset and define the user support that is expected. Speak out! Candidates willing to present their work (20 min) using the CCI-LC products are invited to submit a small abstract describing the content of their work (200 words) to pierre.defourny@uclouvain.be and aurelie.bellavia@uclouvain.be. Selected speakers will be contacted personally no later than the 10 September.

Mandatory registration here. In order to enter the ESA-ESRIN site, your ID or Passport will be required. Please register to the workshop before the 5th September.
