Dear CCI Land Cover User,
Based on the success of the 1st and 2nd CCI Global Land Cover User Workshops, ESA and UCLouvain are pleased to invite you to the 3rd CCI Global Land Cover User Workshop at UCLouvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) on the 20th of May 2020 in the context of the ESA Climate Change Initiative to share respective experiences on the CCI-LC time-series exploitation as well as upcoming developments.
Objectives. The objective of the workshop is to consolidate the community of users of the 300m long-term global land cover time-series produced by CCI-LC (1992-2015) and the Copernicus Climate Change Service (2016-2018). During one day, we will have the opportunity to exchange on the appropriate use of this time-series and the upcoming 2019 map, share how we have been exploiting it and identify the needs in the description of the LC to conduct future research.
Speak out! Candidates willing to present their work using the CCI-LC products are invited to submit a small abstract describing the content of their work (200 words) with the registration form. This would consist of a 15-minute oral presentation with visual support, explaining how and why you have used the ESA CCI LC products in your work. Selected speakers will be contacted personally no later than the 29th April 2020.
